A woman has revealed she will “never” return to Starbucks after discovering a message on her coffee cup.

Taking to TikTok, the woman shared footage of her cup that displayed the words “secret message” written in black texta with an arrow pointing to the bottom.

The staffer had circled the regular Starbucks warning, which read: “Careful, the beverage you’re about to enjoy is extremely hot.”

However, they purposely crossed out the words ‘the beverage’ and ‘about to enjoy is’, leaving the new formed sentence: ‘Careful, you’re extremely hot’.”

The shocked 22-year-old said as a result, she will “never go back there again”.

“AHAHHA what just happened at Starbuck,” she begins the clip, with an unimpressed look on her face.

She then twirled her coffee cup around to show viewers the “secret message”.

However, many viewers were in awe of the barista’s cheeky message.

“If this happened to me I would never stop talking about it,” one woman wrote, while another agreed: “If this happened to me I’d go there everyday.”

“Be glad someone made their shot. It’s rare these days!” another joked, while a fourth added: “That was smooth tho not gonna lie.”

One viewer described it as “lowkey attractive”, while others were confused by the customer’s clip, questioning if she disliked message given she was smirking in the clip.

“She’s smiling but she stated that she won’t go there again. So what do you really feel?” one TikTok user asked.

“She’ll definitely go there again,” another responded, with a third added: “She actually wanna go there, but too scared and too shy. I promise.”

Some were convinced she wrote the message herself as “men don’t write like that”.

The woman, who goes by Chance Twins on TikTok, attracted more than 6100 comments, however she’s yet to respond to some viewers’ queries.
