Melbourne Cup: Aussie celebrities share before and after snaps
Australian model Francesca Hung opted to do her own glam look for Melb Cup, sharing a video of her ‘quick’ makeover on Instagram.
Melbourne Cup attire is steeped in tradition.
But while SAS Australia star Arabella Del Busso appears to have thrown the rule book out the window at the 2020 annual event with her daring dress.
The controversial ex-WAG shared a snap of her ensemble on Instagram, revealing she’s channelling JLo’s iconic green Versace dress – complete with the plunging neckline.
The 30-year-old has also ditched headwear, opting to pile her long brunette locks on top of her head to make a statement and finishing her look with transparent heels.

A before-and-after snap shared by the Channel 7 star’s make-up artist shows the incredible efforts she’s gone to for her bold race day look, including a deep fake tan, glamorous smokey eye make-up and a nude lip.
The makeover has left many stunned, stating it was “unbelievable” while some said they “barely recognised her”.

Aussie model Olivia Molly Rogers took to her Instagram to reveal her glamorous race day transformation with her 160,000 followers.
The video begins with Olivia makeup free as she stares sleepily into the camera, before it cuts to the next clip showing the model all dressed up in a stunning Mossman one-sleeved orange dress, pink hair bow and matching makeup.
“This might be my fave look we’ve done," she wrote on Instagram, tagging Melbourne-based makeup artist and celebrity stylist Suzy Skander.
Fellow NZ model Nikki Phillips also took social media sharing a behind-the-scenes video of her makeover.
The 37-year-old was styled by Donny Galella and her make-up completed by celebrity beauty guru Michael Brown. She completed the glam look with a pink AJE gown featuring puffed sleeves and a risque cut-out that runs along the sides and back of the dress.
It appears pink is the colour of the day.
Former Miss Universe Australia winner Francesca Hung also opted for a baby-pink coloured full-length gown by designer Oglia Loro.
The 26-year-old decided to do her own make-up for the event, uploading a short video of her step-by-step transformation with her 150,000 Instagram followers.
She preps her skin before applying foundation, blush, peach eyeshadow and bold, red lipstick.
“AND WE ARE READY TO ROLL! If only it actually took 15 seconds to do my hair and makeup,” she captioned the post.
Hundreds took to her post commenting on how “beautiful” the model looks.
“Wow you are adorable,” one follower wrote.
“Looking adorable,” added another, while a third referred to her as “doll”.
