Racegoers channel their inner ‘Sam Frost’ and opt for white at the Cox Plate

IT WAS a whitewash at the Cox Plate this year, with women right across the field channelling their inner ‘Sam Frost’.

CHANNELING their inner Sam Frost, who dazzled in an off-white gown during the Bachelorette finale on Thursday night, has set a trend for the fashion stakes at this years Cox Plate.

Women across the field wowed in the best white frock, with some also opting for a white headpiece to finish their look.

Myer ambassador Rachael Finch opted for a white-on-white look, wearing a lace knee length Cue dress paired with a simple Nerida Winter floral headpiece.

Even racehorse trainer Gai Waterhouse went for a white ensemble, including blazer, skirt and matching headpiece.

Punters who took to the trackside posted their best white renditions, with many opting for a floorlength hemline.
