What does ‘Netflix and chill’ mean?

IF A love interest asks you to ‘Netflix and chill’ with them, it might be worth having a chat about what they mean first.

“WANNA watch Netflix and chill?”

For most millenials, this means more than bingeing on Orange is the New Black with a bag of Doritos.

The cheeky combination of “Netflix” and “chill” plastered all over social media actually refers to an invitation for something a bit more, er, R-rated.

Like asking your date to come inside for a “cup of coffee”, extending a “Netflix and chill” invite is code for sex.

Of course, the definition is open to interpretation.

Some people say it literally means to watch a movie and relax. Others say the TV show will end up as the “soundtrack” for a romantic rendezvous.

Here are some of the most amusing #NetflixAndChill tweets and vines. You decide.
