‘Shut up shop’: Julia Morris says she’s ‘done with sex’ after divorce

TV presenter Julia Morris has dropped a sex confession live on air in the aftermath of her divorce from her husband.

Julia Morris has shocked her fans with a surprising sex confession.

The 54-year-old claims she is “done with sex” after divorcing from her husband Dan Thomas earlier in the year.

The popular TV personality may remain celibate for the rest of her life after telling radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O live on air that she had “lost interest” in the act.

“I think I’ve shut up shop, I think I’m done with roots,” the I’m a celebrity... get me out of here! host said on Monday.

“Before I got married, I had a go, don’t worry. It’s not like I’m missing out now that I’m back out there. I’m not back out there.”

The stunned hosts asked her to clarify if she was really not going to have sex again.

“I could not care if I lift and separate again in my lifetime” she replied.

Kyle went on to ask Julia whether she was going to “take care of business” herself.

“Sometimes I can be bothered, but who can be bothered?” she replied.

“Who has the time? I’ve got washing to do.”

Jackie O replied that she was in the “same boat” and was not “out there” looking.

“So are you girls both living your best divorced lives?” Kyle asked, with both Jackie and Julia saying that they were.

“I don’t think I’ve had an argument in a year, it’s the best of times” Julia said.

“With work and life, and definitely raising children, we just got lazy in the end.

“I hope I haven’t put anyone off marriage, because it can be a wonderful thing”

Julia married Welsh comedian Dan Thomas in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve in 2005.

Earlier in the year, the stand-up comedian – who shares daughters Ruby and Sophie with her ex – said she had no plans to get on the dating apps.

When asked by hosts Carlo Salanitri, Joe Salanitri and Andrew Manfre on the Sooshi Mango Saucy Meatballs podcast if she would ever set up a Tinder profile, she replied “never”.

“I have been renovating my house, right, and I have made the bedroom from top to bottom pink and fluffy,” she said.

“I had two friends come over the other day, and the boy walked into my room and goes, ‘Yeah, I’m soft’. That is the idea. This is a jizz-free zone.”

Before parting ways, Julia made a surprise admission to Stellar magazine, stating she thought about leaving Dan “once a year” because of their arguments.

However, she previously praised his support during her breast cancer battle in 2012.

Mr Thomas also had a breast cancer scare.

In 2012 he underwent a mastectomy to treat the disease. The diagnosis - rare in men - came just four days before Christmas in 2011, with his wife saying early detection saved his life.
