Abbie Chatfield has opened up about a “common” bedroom struggle she has – with many praising the star for “normalising” the issue.

The influencer turned TV host, who is currently in an open relationship with boyfriend Konrad Bien-Stephens, was discussing the topic of sex with adult performer Charlotte Starr during a recent episode of her podcast It’s A Lot.

During their intimate conversation, the 27-year-old said she fears she is “bad” at giving women oral pleasure, stating she was considering hiring a sex worker to help improve her skills.

“I am bi, right? But I am really bad at that,” Abbie said.

“So I was thinking about getting a sex worker to have sex with her and just do a learning experience.”

The Masked Singer host then asked Charlotte if it was “common” to hire a sex worker for the educational benefit.

But while the adult performer said she had “never really heard of that before”, many listeners of the podcast were quick to disagree.

“It’s really, really common actually. One of the places I used to work we had quite a few bookings for exactly that,” one former sex worker wrote on Instagram.

“I think getting lessons and exploration from SWrs is highly under rated this should 100 per cent be normalised,” another agreed.

While one man stated: “We get take classes and lessons and use google for most things we want to learn how to do so why not hire an expert to help out?”

Others praised Abbie for being “so honest” with her audience, many adding they too had “thought about it”.

“Good on u Abbie for being so honest,” one said.

“I’ve literally thought of doing this @abbiechatfield you’re not alone,” another woman wrote.

“I love the things you are normalising,” someone else declared.

Abbie is no stranger to being vocal about traditionally “taboo” topics, with the radio host candidly revealing she and boyfriend Konrad were in a “non-monogamous” relationship earlier this year.

She also told fans when she “finally” enjoyed the perks of their set-up, proudly announcing she’d got some action at the 2022 Logies on the Gold Coast last month.

Discussing her “overwhelming” night – which saw her breakdown in tears because she struggled to get a photo of herself in her stunning gown – conversation turned to other things in her life.

“What else has happened? Oh yeah, I finally rooted someone which is nice. Good for me,” she said on her podcast.

After making the announcement, Abbie’s producer Lem Zakharia can be heard cheering in the background.

“Sorry, I had to celebrate,” Lem said.

Abbie had previously discussed her frustrations at being “too busy” to utilise her open relationship, while Konrad had been sexual with other women.

“The issue is Konrad is the only one who seems to be able to get laid around here,” she said on her radio show Hot Nights With Abbie in March.

“I’m upset because he’s now slept with two people and I am happy for him.

“But I am also like, when will it be the Chatfield’s turn? Because I have no prospects in sight.”

Abbie added that the situation had left her “feeling like a bit of a loser”.
