Zoe and Benji Marshall renew vows after 10 years of marriage
Zoe and Benji Marshall have renewed their vows after 10 years of marriage, but she still had one surprise in store for him on their big day.
An NRL player turned commentator has renewed his vows to his wife after a decade of marriage.
Zoe and Benji Marshall married in 2013, and have two children together, but over the weekend renewed their vows to one another.
During the celebration, the 37-year-old writer surprised her husband by playing the song from their first dance – Usher’s OMG.
In addition she donned the dress she wore during their first dance a decade ago.
The clip showed Zoe make a dramatic entrance into the venue wearing the halter neck mini dress as the song started to play.
Friends and family screamed in excitement as they realised what was about to take place.
Zoe tried to coerce Benji into getting up and doing the dance with her, but he refused, embarrassed as she tried to grab his hands.
The pair were laughing and smiling the entire time.
“His face when he hears the song start … This dress 10 years on @steven_khalil and this song was our first dance which was choreographed and learnt over six weeks,” Zoe captioned the video.
“Corny. Yes. The dress. Yes it fits. But not well enough for my signature dance moves. Mama can still drop it, just not in this. Another little surprise for @benji6marshall.”
Many praised Zoe for slipping into the frock.
One social media user said: “You are that hot! Honestly. What a lucky man.”
Another added: “The dress hasn’t aged one bit! Absolutely beautiful, it was then, and it is now. Not even the slightest bit corny. Total milf/dilf vibes.”
One simply said the video was “everything”.
Another added: “Such a bloke not getting up to dance! Bloody Benji!”
Zoe said when the pair moved into their new home, she was committed to making memories with their loved ones.
“I had a moment where I sat in that room and truly felt how lucky we are,” she said.
“After the week from hell – having the people you love around you is all that matters.”
