TODAY show weatherman Steve Jacobs was reportedly involved in an “altercation” at a gym with his estranged wife’s new lover before she took an AVO out on him.

TODAY show weatherman Steve Jacobs was involved in an ‘altercation’ at a gym with his estranged wife Rosie’s new lover before she took an AVO out on him, according to reports.

The Dail Mail has reported that Ms Jacobs’ husband and her new Canadian ex-commando lover Dylan Nash came head to head in front of several witnesses in an incident at the Ultimate Fitness gym in Port Vila, Vanuatu on February 24.

The revelation follows reports that Ms Jacobs took out an AVO against the Channel Nine star.

The Daily Mail yesterday reported that Ms Jacobs successfully applied for a “restraining ex parte temporary domestic protection order” in Vanuatu — where they live — back in January

“Police assisted Ms Jacobs in filing an application for a family protection order,” a courthouse employee told the site.

Mr Jacobs was spotted walking in Bondi earlier today.

News of the AVO came just a few days after it was revealed by the Daily Telegraph that Jacobs and his wife of seven years had split late last year.

Canadian Dylan Nash is rumoured to be dating Rosie Jacobs following her split from television presenter Steve Jacobs.

Dylan Nash is reportedly a Canadian ex-commando.

The TV presenting couple moved to Vanuatu with their two daughters at the end of 2016 to try to save their marriage, but sources told the Daily Telegraph the relationship couldn’t be saved.

“Sadly, it hasn’t worked and they separated last year — a decision that has been incredibly hard for them both but for the best in the long run,” the source said.

“They both love their children and neither of them regrets the move to Vanuatu. For now they have decided to remain living there, where the girls are in school. So many people give up on their relationships at the first sign of struggle but Steve and Rosie both tried really hard for a long time before reaching this point.”

According to reports, Ms Jacobs has already found love again with Mr Nash, another expat in Vanuatu.

On Mr Nash’s Instagram, he claims to be a former commando and soldier in the Canadian army and is now a full-time traveller and adventurer.

“Rosie and Dylan were introduced through mutual friends towards the end of the year and struck up a friendship,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“They’ve been dating for a few months and he has been rock solid support for her ever since the split.”
