The bride called in to Nova’s evening show Ben, Liam & Belle to share that she got married, and the duo had a “beautiful” wedding.
But, the marriage didn’t even last 24 hours. After the ceremony, and the photos, the couple went to the reception. But, one key person didn’t make it.
“The reception — he was gone,” she told the hosts.
“Absolutely disappeared and I did not hear anything from him for months.”
The woman, only known as Kylie, said the man was the love of her life. As a result of his vanishing act, she was forced to cancel their honeymoon.
Kylie said she was embarrassed when asked just where her groom had gotten to, and she said she went into the room while friends and family ate the food.
She said she was under the impression that her groom was seeing somebody else for the duration of their six-year relationship.
“It’s mind-blowing,” host Liam Stapleton said.
When asked what the man was now doing, she said he was now dating her cousin. The hosts and producers lost it.
“Kylie,” Liam screamed.
Kylie said the man — and her cousin — are no longer in her life.
But, it did leave a sour taste in her mouth when it came to weddings, with the woman saying she likely would never walk down the aisle ever again.
She said she laughs about it now, and her kids bring it up all the time.
Many social media users expressed their shock at what Kylie had been through.
“That’s terrible. I’m a true believer in the saying ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater’,” one person said.
Another said: “Just remember ‘how she got him, is how she will lose him!’ Her cousin is the fool in all of this, when he dumps her, family may not be there!”
