Julia Morris reveals unexpected perk of getting divorced

She recently got divorced after 16 years of marriage – but the TV presenter is far from sad, detailing an unexpected perk of being single.

Julia Morris’ X-rated divorce brag

Julia Morris has opened up about the perks of getting divorced, making a rather crude “brag” about life as a single woman.

The I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! host split from her husband Dan Thomas, 42, last year after 16 years of marriage – with Julia revealing they were in “a good place” since getting divorced.

However the 54-year-old told the Sooshi Mango Saucy Meatballs podcast she has no plans to “get back out there”, coining a new term for her new-found celibacy: “JFZ.”

“We’re in a good place thank God ’cause I’m hearing horror stories about [divorce] but, my god, the freedom,” she told the hosts.

“I don’t want to brag, but oh, it’s everything you’re dreaming it’s going to be.”

The stand-up comedian – who shares daughters Ruby and Sophie with her ex – was quizzed by hosts Carlo Salanitri, Joe Salanitri and Andrew Manfre on whether she’d set up a Tinder profile, prompting Julia to declare: “Never.”

“I have been renovating my house, right, and I have made the bedroom from top to bottom pink and fluffy,” she said.

“I had two friends come over the other day, and the boy walked into my room and goes, ‘Yeah, I’m soft.’

“That is the idea. This is a jizz-free zone.”

Julia’s honest revelation was shared on TikTok where followers were quick to join in with sharing their love of the “freedoms” of divorce.

“Freedom is priceless! … I will never give it up again for anyone,” one woman wrote.

“Life after divorce is fabulous! Pube and skiddy-free toilets that smell like roses and girly bedrooms. Heaven,” another said.

And one declared: “JFZ I’m totally all about this.”

Others added they “loved single life” and shared a stream of laughing emojis over the term “JFZ”.

Julia met Dan, a Welsh comedian, at an event in event in London called Club Sunday. The pair married in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve in 2005 before calling it quits at the end of last year.

Before parting ways, Julia made a surprise admission to Stellar magazine, stating she thought about leaving Dan “once a year” because of their arguments.

However, she previously praised his support during her breast cancer battle in 2012.
