Aussie groom’s ‘disgusting’ sex demand horrifies Abbie Chatfield
Abbie Chatfield was disgusted during her radio show when a caller revealed the “revolting” reason her marriage lasted under 24 hours.
A Sydney bride has detailed the horrifying moment her groom asked for a divorce on their wedding night, leaving people outraged.
Rachel told Abbie Chatfield’s Hit Network radio show her new husband had asked for sex on their wedding night but was left furious when he “didn’t get what he wanted”.
The following morning she said he demanded a divorce, eventually causing the newlyweds to officially separate just two weeks after tying the knot.
Her jaw-dropping admission left Chatfield in shock, with the Hot Nights host labelling the groom “revolting” and “disgusting”.
“I was married for not even 24 hours before my husband wanted a divorce, and we separated two weeks later,” the caller said.
“The night of the wedding, we went out, and when we got back to the hotel room, unfortunately, I didn’t give him what he wanted.”
This led Chatfield and her two male producers to ask if she meant sex, which Rachel confirmed was the case.
“We were tired. I didn’t want to, and the next day he wanted a divorce.”
The shocking wedding story left Chatfield and her male colleagues horrified.
“What a revolting man,” the former reality star began.
“Also, I’ve heard a lot of people don’t have sex on their wedding night because you’re so tired.
“What an awful, disgusting man. Men are revolting.”
Rachel then revealed the ordeal left her “miserable”, stating she “couldn’t wait” to get away from her new husband.
Chatfield’s radio team shared her shocking story on TikTok, which quickly garnered huge attention.
Many declared she “dodged a bullet”, while others said, “men like him deserve to stay single”.
“This is absolutely insane. What a piece of sh*t guy,” one lamented.
“OMG that’s cooked,” another declared.
As one wrote: “Absolutely dodged a bullet.”
One man in the comments section was confused about why this was so shocking to women, prompting someone to explain: “You don’t owe sex to anyone not even your husband.”
Others shared tales of the nice things their husband did on their wedding nights.
“My husband cried about how much he loved me then fell asleep while I removed 83 bobbypins from my hair,” one woman laughed.
“My husband was too tired after unbuttoning the 300000000 buttons on the back of my dress to get me out of it, so romantic really,” another joked.
