‘Age is just a number’: Woman defends massive age gap with her husband

27-year old woman says she is more in love with her 54-year old husband than ever.

A woman whose husband is double her age has set the record straight on her relationship — and insists that age is just a number.

Danielle Lichtman met Frank at the restaurant where she worked when she was aged 19 and he was 46.

Now aged 27 and 54, the pair share two sons and are more in love than ever, reports The Sun.

Despite people assuming Frank is Danielle’s dad or that she has “daddy issues”, the pair aren’t bothered by outside opinions.

It wasn’t always this way though, as they were “scared to be in public” at the start of their relationship over fears of what others would think.

Frank was married when Danielle was still a child and even has a grown up daughter from the previous relationship.

But stay-at-home mum Danielle insists that their age gap is the “best thing about their relationship” and she’s not bothered by his past.

“I met this man years ago and he made me laugh,” she penned in an Instagram post.

“I knew I would marry him even though he told me he would never marry again.”

“We had the best and worst years of our lives together but that didn’t stop our hearts beating for each other,” she wrote.

“We were scared of the age gap, scared of what people thought and scared to be in public.”

Danielle and Frank, from New York, have now been together for over eight years and married for one.

“There is a unique beauty to our relationship,” she said.

“If you’re struggling with an age gap and what to do but you know they’re the one, take that step and don’t look back.”

The couple have social media accounts dedicated to their relationship, where they share insights into their age-gap dynamic.

Danielle can regularly be seen gushing over how “handsome” Frank is, adding that she’s “mind blown” by how young he looks for a man in his fifties.

Her motto is: “Let them judge but don’t let them stop you.”
