A 23-year-old has hit back at trolls, who claimed she’s only with her 62-year-old man for his money after she met him on Tinder.

A 23-year-old has hit back at trolls, who claimed she’s only with her 62-year-old man for his money.

Willow met real estate developer David on Tinder, and the pair became boyfriend and girlfriend just one hour into their first meeting, The Sun reported.

“When I first met him, I didn’t ask him how old he was, I didn’t really ask him what he did [for work],” Willow said.

“I didn’t want to know anything, I didn’t want to be influenced by any outside factors, I just wanted to know him as a person.”

David, on the other hand, “was a little concerned about her age”, during their first meet.

In the three months the couple have been together, they have travelled the world, including three visits to the Bahamas, and two to Las Vegas.

This has led to online speculation, with some suggesting Willow treats her boyfriend more like a sugar daddy.

Willow has recently moved into David’s huge apartment, despite the couple only being together for a few months.

Speaking to YouTube’s Love Don’t Judge, Willow said: “People on social media like to call me a gold-digger.

“F*** the haters”.

David added he too has received lots of hate online, with people suggesting that he looks like Willows grandad, or her sugar daddy.

She said her mum has never seen her as happy as she is with David.

David’s friends are also supportive of the match, stating that it doesn’t matter about age in this day and age.

Willow said she likes dating older men as you don’t have to “baby sit” them, and they already have their lives together.

David said he plans to spend the rest of his life with Willow, as they have a genuine connection.

“She makes me happy”, he said.

The couple’s relationship, has sparked controversy online.

Commenting under the YouTube video, social media users shared their thoughts.

One person said: “That is the definition of a gold digger”.

A third added: “If he was broke she wouldn’t even look at him, but I guess he knows that”.

A fourth chimed in: “Three months is nothing. She’s in it for the money.”

Someone else in an age gap relationship defended the couple: “I’m 37 and my wonderful boyfriend is turning 55 next week.

“Going on 6 months, and I’ve never been happier.

“I used to judge big age gaps, but now that I’m part of one I totally get it. We love every minute together.”

Another noted: “They actually go well together it’s amazing seriously, no joking, this kind of relationship is absolutely awesome.”
