Actor Tom Holland has done the most boyfriend thing ever and posted an average photo of his very hot girlfriend, Zendaya.

To celebrate Zendaya’s 27th Birthday, he posted a photo of her wearing a snorkel and in a wetsuit, giving a thumbs up on Instagram.

Holland did Zendaya dirty with her birthday snap. Yes, she still looked adorable, but it was one of the more wholesome Zendaya snaps, and Holland just decided to share that with his millions of followers.

Men.

It is always exciting when Holland posts anything about Zendaya because they are famously very private about their relationship.

They are the opposite of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, aka there are no photos of them face-licking on the internet.

Anytime Holland posts any personal quotes, fans eat it up like it's a burger from McDonalds at 2am.

He even captioned the photo, “my birthday girl.”

It was all very sweet … except for the photo.

Zendaya is one of the most beautiful and stylish women in the world and the best her boyfriend could come up with is a photo of her in a snorkel?

What is going on.

He also has zero excuse! She’s one of the most photographed women in the world and that’s what he went with?

The man could have popped onto Getty Images if he was stuck.

Interestingly, it is actually a very common issue and fans were quick to point out that Holland was just behaving like a typical boyfriend.

“Every good boyfriend posts terrible photos of you on special days. There’s a science behind it,” someone tweeted.

“Typical boyfriend … Out of all the gorgeous pics of her that exist, he chooses the goofiest one to post,” another fan declared.

‘This picture of all pictures? Boyfriends can be the real crazy!” Someone mused.

Boyfriends taking bad photos of their gorgeous girlfriends and posting them to social media has become such a thing that women often go viral on TikTok for sharing the unflattering pics their boyfriends take of them.

See? Zendaya might be a gorgeous celebrity, but even she has to put up with this kind of stuff on a mass scale.

It is one thing if your 400 Instagram followers see, but imagine if your boyfriend had millions.

Creator Jessica Leigh even took it to a new level on the social media platform when she ranked the bad photos her boyfriend had taken of her out of ten.

Highlights included shots of her rocking bad posture, wearing track pants, and just trying to get a little shopping done.

The camera angles were both creative and offensive.

In similar fashion, another creator went viral after posting a TikTok sharing her fear her boyfriend’s tendency to post unflattering photos of her would mean other women who like him would think she was “ugly.”

Meanwhile, one creator complained her boyfriend posted photos of her looking like a “cockroach” and then lied and said she looked perfect.

See? It is an epidemic!

The only comforting thing about Holland’s post is it makes you realise that no matter how gorgeous you are, there’s a daggy photo of you on your boyfriend’s camera roll that he is saving for a special occasion.
