Tinder is undoubtedly one of the most popular dating apps in the world with 26 million matches made per day.

But have you ever wondered which star signs are getting the most matches?

Tinder has gathered data from its galaxy of Australian users to find out which star signs attract the most Swipe Rights on the app.

POPULAR FEMALE STAR SIGNS

Scorpio females will be pleased to know they topped the list of the 12 zodiac signs with the most Swipe Rights.

“Good to see strong women making their mark,” a Tinder spokesman said. “It is a water sign known for leadership, determination and passion.”

Close behind at number two is Leo, the vivacious lionesses with a romantic streak.

“Women Leos are bound to have Tinder bios with bags of personality,” the spokesman added.

Taurus, Cancer and Virgo make the top five respectively, while lady Pisces, known for its gentle, sensitive nature, comes in last.

“It could be overlooked when swiping, which is a shame because Pisceans make great friends and partners,” the spokesman explained.

POPULAR MALE STAR SIGNS

Taurus tops the list for men. It is a an earth sign described as having well-grounded, reliable personality traits.

“But beneath the surface Taureans are sensual and hedonistic, and it looks like this lust for life shines through in their Tinder bios,” the Tinder spokesman said. “Surprisingly it’s Virgo that takes the second spot, one of the most hardworking zodiac signs with a methodical approach to life.”

There’s 26 million matches made every day on Tinder.

While Pisces comes in third and Aquarius and Libra at fourth and fifth respectively.

Scorpio just misses out on the top five, coming it as sixth with Leo males known for their magnetic personalities are further down the list in 8th spot.

Adventure-loving Sagittarius scrapes in at 11 while Capricorn comes in last.

“In fact, Sagittarians need to up their Tinder game as they come eleventh in both lists,” the spokesman said.

It also appears that Australia is the most popular destination for Tinder users abroad.

In 2015, the dating app introduced the “Tinder Passport” for users planning on taking a trip overseas by allowing them to search for matches in advance.

According to data published by Business of Apps — London topped the list of Passport Destinations for 2016, followed by Paris and New York with Sydney at eight and Melbourne at 11.
