A throuple have hit back at people who make assumptions about their unconventional relationship.

Alana, Megan and Kevin have been together for three years after Alana and Kevin decided to bring in a third party to their relationship.

The trio have shared their relationship on social media for years and have had plenty of people comment on how being in a polyamorous relationship works, The Sun reported.

In one clip, they revealed all of the problems they have as they have a unique relationship.

Meghan revealed: “Yes, we all sleep in the same bed.”

Most couples struggle to agree on what to watch or where to eat but it’s even harder when there’s three of you.

“It’s impossible to pick what to eat or watch,” she added.

Kevin also revealed plus one invites didn’t work for the trio as it often means someone is left out.

They finished the video saying: “We’re a throuple. We know you can love more than one person at a time.”

Despite being in a happy relationship, they did reveal that jealousy can often arise.

Occasionally, one of the trio will get jealous of the other two and they revealed how they made sure everyone felt included.

Megan revealed it was best to recognise how you’re feeling, communicate it with the others and then make sure you get showered with lots of love.

Despite claiming they were all in love with each other, they revealed trolls online often say it’s impossible.

Responding to the comment: “You can’t have real love in a throuple,” the trio said they were ‘vibing’ and couldn’t be happier.

The throuple’s clips have gone viral on their TikTok account @campthrouple where they have amassed over 250k followers and 2.9 million likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts on the unique relationship and many revealed they could never do it.

One person wrote: “Step 1. Don’t do a throuple relationship.”

Another commented: “Why would you put yourself through this?”

“It clearly isn’t for everyone, but looks like it’s possible and works for some people,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “I don’t understand how some people can do it, cause I don’t share, that one person is mine, but more power to you.”

“I could never,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Personally that’s too much effort for me but as long as y’all are happy that’s all that matters.”
