PokeDates ‘will help you catch love’ with other Pokemon Go users
POKEMON Go fans will soon be able to go on PokeDates. The dating app aims to help users of the popular game find a good (human) catch.
POKEMON Go fans are currently obsessed with “catching ‘em all” and now they could find the perfect catch with the launch of PokeDates.
The New York Daily News reports that dating site Project Fixup lhas launched PokéDates which will arrange meet ups between two “trainers” who are seeking love at PokeStops or Gyms.
The matching process doesn’t just line you up with other Pokemon Go fans in your neighbourhood but uses a questionnaire to try and find you the best match.
Project Fixup is offering first dates for free with the promo code “POKEDATES2016,” but after that it’ll be $20 per date. However, members can earn more free dates by referring friends.
“Project Fixup is known for creating tailored dates that enable people with similar interests to do something fun together in the real world,” CEO Sarah Press said in a statement. “As soon as Pokemon Go launched, we knew it was a perfect fit for our users; Pokemon Go enthusiasts and new members alike.”
To sign up for a PokéDate, single Pokémon trainers can go to GoPokeDates.com and fill in a questionnaire in order to start getting matched with other players
The app has specialists who review the questionnaire and schedules in order to find people with similar interests and availability. Once a couple has been matched, they’ll be sent an email to confirm the date and Pokémon hunt. After that, singles are on their own.
