‘Incriminating’: Suspicious detail in Hinge date’s photo

A woman has shared the suspicious detail in a photo her Hinge date sent her, exposing something under the TV where he was watching the sport.

A woman has revealed the “genius” way she discovered the man she was dating was seeing another woman after he sent a seemingly innocent snap of himself watching the Olympics.

TikTok user Megan-Marie shared a video of the photo he had sent when she had asked him what he was up to.

He responded saying, “watching the Olympics with the boys see u tomorrow” – but the photo he sent said otherwise.

While at a glance it appeared to simply capture the TV set showing the Olympics playing on the screen, what he failed to notice was the mirrored television cabinet.

In the reflection two sets of legs can be seen, his own and then a smoothly shaved pair of female pins.

Megan also spotted several fashion themed coffee-table books – leading her to believe he was in a woman’s house.

She captioned the video: “Do I have dumb written on my forehead?”

The video has since gone viral, amassing more than 1.3 million views and thousands of comments from viewers praising her detective work.

“He really thought that would work too … who gave men the audacity to be so painfully unaware of themselves.”

“WHY do they send pics to incriminate themselves?” added another, while a third commented: “Maybe I do like being single.”

In a follow up post, Megan shared the ‘live’ photo the guy – who she had recently met on Hinge – had sent from his iPhone where a woman’s voice can also be heard.

“I’m sorry you’re dealing with this betrayal,” another user responded.

Others defended the man, suggesting his friend could have a girlfriend, explaining away the decor and the woman on the couch.

“Hope one of the friends has a GF and they live together and he’s just at their place?” one said.

“Hear me out: he’s at his guy friend’s house that has a significant other,” another suggested.

Despite people telling Megan to leave the guy, she later updated to say they had only been on one date, so he wasn’t “cheating”.
