Palestinian hairdresser sets clients’ hair on fire in bizarre straightening technique

A BARBER douses clients’ locks in flammable liquid before torching it, saying it’s “good for circulation”.

A BRAVE client has quite the close shave when his barber sets his hair alight.

Palestinian barber Ramadan Edwan offers “fire barbering” as a hair-straightening technique at his salon in the Rafah refugee camp, southern Gaza,The Sun reports.

He pours flammable powder and liquid on the hair of his customer and sets it ablaze with a large lighter before styling the hair with his hand.

Mr Edwan described his technique as “good for blood circulation”.

He added: “It also feeds hair and protects the root of it and the hair oils. The degree of temperature expands the follicles.”
