Construction worker recorded singing while at work

IT’S not everyday you hear a tradie singing Pavarotti while jackhammering on a Sydney construction site. What a talent.

DAVID Lopes de Oliveira, 22, is a construction worker who aspires to one day perform in the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Considering the set of pipes on him as he belts out Pavarotti’s Nessun Dorma between crushing the pavement with a jackhammer, that may very well be a dream come true one day.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he is working in construction to pay for his English and music classes.

He wants to further his music studies at the Conservatory of Music in Sydney, but needs to pass his English exams first.
