Teen accused of fatally pushing mum out mansion window

A TEENAGE boy has been taken into police custody following the discovery of his mum’s dead body on the patio outside their mansion near Detroit.

Shocking moment a serial killer was caught

A MICHIGAN teen faces charges after he allegedly pushed his mum out a second-storey window to her death.

The 16-year-old boy, whose identity has not been released, was arrested for killing his mum, Nada Huranieh, news station WDIV reported.

Huranieh, 35, was found dead Monday on the patio outside their mansion in Farmington Hills, a well-off neighborhood about 20 miles northwest of Detroit.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:40am Monday after receiving a call about a woman who suffered an accident.

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on Huranieh but were unsuccessful.

Investigators then discovered evidence that suggested Huranieh, a personal trainer, was murdered.

“No one has been charged yet but we are treating this as a murder investigation and her son is in custody in connection with this,” Farmington Hills Police Chief Charles Nebus told the Detroit News.

The 16-year-old son was taken into custody at Oakland County Children’s Village, a juvenile detention centre in Farmington Hills. He is scheduled to appear in court August 31.

Anyone with information about Huranieh’s death is urged to call the Farmington Hills Police Department at 248-871-2610.
