Roxy Jacenko has been spotted back in Sydney and the fresh photos reveal an inarguable truth about the former PR Queen.

Some things belong in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and Roxy Jacenko is one of them.

The PR Queen, who closed her iconic PR agency Sweaty Betty in 2022, was seen yesterday in Double Bay with her influencer daughter Pixie, 12, who semi-retired in 2023 to focus on high school.

And despite having relocated to Singapore, the pair were looking very Sydney.

Roxy was a vision in her dark blue jeans and a bright red Miu Miu crop top, accentuating her sparkling white teeth that could make a Neighbours actor jealous. Meanwhile, Pixie kept things cute and casual in her pink, slightly baggy pants and a white T-shirt.

The pair looked like they should be off to Totti’s Bondi to order some famous bread and post about it online.

Roxy now resides full-time internationally in Singapore and has previously said her time in Sydney feels “done”. She confirmed to news.com.au that she’s only in town for a week.

In the mid-2000s, Roxy ruled Sydney with her little black book, unapologetically long hair extensions, and celebrity feuds.

This week, seeing Roxy back in her natural habitat and showing off her toned stomach after her self-documented weight loss felt right.

Sydney’s eastern suburbs oozes affluence, and just a few things should always remain there: An overpriced takeaway where a BBQ chicken costs $24, luxury stores that sell basic white T-shirts for $100, and Roxy.

What makes the area so iconic is the people who live there and keep it relevant with their beautiful faces and luxury lives.

Sure, the suburb is in a geographically beautiful spot, but the people are what makes it feel genuinely boujie.

You want to know that if you head down to the grocery store in Paddington, you could run into Pip Edwards, who resides not far away in Rose Bay or singer Jessica Mauboy, who owns an apartment in Paddington.

You want to grab an overpriced chook in the hope of brushing shoulders with Jessica Rowe or Ita Buttrose.

You want to buy and purchase an overpriced shirt and see Roxy strolling down Oxford St from the store window with a designer handbag and oversized sunglasses while barking orders at someone on the phone.

These days, celebrities like to pretend they are relatable, but Roxy’s always kept her brand aspirational.

She’s the woman who bought Pixie a $270,000 Mercedes G-Wagon when she was only nine years old and threw her daughter’s 12th birthday party not at McDonalds but at The Crown Hotel.

Much like Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Roxy doesn’t pretend to be affordable, and the area needs her back because it is not the same without her.
