A woman has shared the “unbelievable” thing a man did after taking her to meet his parents.

Man's shock act after date

A woman has taken to TikTok to share the unbelievable thing her boyfriend did after the pair went on a trip to meet his parents.

Canadian Maddy Blythe took to social media to share a “weird” experience she had with her now ex-boyfriend after the pair ate breakfast at his mother’s house.

The 26-year-old said she went on a trip with him to visit his family in another state, and the night before had helped pay for an expensive dinner to “treat” his mum.

The next morning, she ate a banana and one piece of bread for breakfast at his parent’s house.

What happened next shocked her followers.

“We dated for three years, and I met his family once during that time,” she began.

“They lived in a different city, and it was hard to see them. So we travelled to see them, and of course, the good guest that I am, I bought a gift basket.

“I bought some wine, nice soaps, candles and whatnot, because I was going to be staying at his mum’s house for a couple of days.

“The trip was fine, we mostly did our own thing, but we did eat with the mum for dinner one night and for breakfast one morning.

“Me and my boyfriend ended up paying for that dinner, because it was a bit expensive and we wanted to treat his mum.”

Maddy explained that they her ex would often send her Excel spreadsheets to break down any money that she apparently owed him.

“We get home for the trip, and a few days later I get an email from my boyfriend that had an Excel document in it,” she said.

“The document was all of our expenses from the trip, which was fine, that was how we normally did things.

“But I did notice there was one line that I was kind of confused about. It just said, ‘breakfast for $3.23’.

“So I asked him like, hey what’s this? And he looks at me deadpan and goes, ‘Oh well that’s for the banana and piece of toast that you ate at my mum’s.’

“He said, ‘Well you ate that, so you owe me and my mum money.’ This man was deada** trying to charge me for a banana and a piece of Wonderbread.

“And I paid it. I gave him the $3.23.”

People in the comments could not believe the man’s “petty” move, and asked why the woman would accept this kind of behaviour for three years.

Maddy explained that she would never put up with that type of thing now, but when she was younger, she did not realise this was out of the ordinary.

“I just want to clarify, I would never stand for this sh*t anymore, but I did for three years.

“I dug into my emails, and found what a typical monthly Excel spreadsheet would look like. He would send me one of these a month, he was nice enough to colour code it.

“At the bottom of this would be the totals of everything that I owed.”

Her video has since gone viral, with many joking they would have got rid of her boyfriend after he began sending an Excel document with expenses.

“I am too stunned to speak. My mind is blown, girl I can’t imagine, you were a guest at his house,” one said.

“You should have charged him for that gift basket and then break up with him,” another wrote.

“Oh my god. Gross, this is crazy! Did he pay half the gift basket?” one asked, to which Maddy responded that he did not.

“We would have broken up right there,” someone else added.

“I would [have] broken up way before that trip. The mention of a spreadsheet breakdown, I’d be gone! Imagine living like that,” said another.
