World captivated with bullied Australian boy after heartbreaking viral video
The whole world has rallied behind Quaden Bayles after his heartbreaking struggle with school bullies went viral this week.
The whole world has officially got behind the nine-year-old Australian boy who went viral for his relentless plight with bullying.
Quaden Bayles – a young boy living with Achondroplasia dwarfism – captured the hearts of people across the globe when his mum a shared a heartbreaking clip of him in hysterics after being bullied at school.
Tears streaming down his face, the boy was filmed in utter despair, telling his mother: “I wish I could stab myself in the heart. I want someone to kill me.”
Mum Yarraka Bayles explained that Quaden is bullied “every single freaking day”.
“I’ve got a son that is suicidal almost every single day,” she said.
Since posting the video on Facebook, the youngster’s story has been picked up by media outlets worldwide, as millions of supportive messages flooded in.

After watching the video, celebrities and public figures have rallied around young Quaden.
US comedian Brad Williams created a fundraiser to send Quaden and his mother to Disneyland. Mr Williams – who also has dwarfism – said he was beyond moved when he saw the clip.
“I don’t know how you can watch that video and not just burst into tears and feel horrible for him,” he told the Courier Mail.
At the time of writing, the GoFundMe page has raised over $US422,000 ($A636,827).
“This isn’t just for Quaden, this is for anyone who has been bullied in their lives and told they weren’t good enough,” the page reads.
Mr Williams has already said that if too much is donated, the excess would be given to anti-bullying charities.
The story struck a chord with people all over the world, with media outlets from the UK and Brazil to India covering the story.
Countless celebrities are among Quaden’s supporters, who took to social media to share the love.
The Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan posted his own video in response to Quaden.
“We stand with Quaden,” Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff posted on social media.
“Let Quaden (and his mum) know they are welcome to swing by Roloff Farms for a full VIP tour and some encouragement on how wonderful being a little person can be,” he added.
Hugh Jackman’s message for Quaden was simply: “You’ve got a friend in me.”
His video has already racked up 62k likes along with countless comments of support.

Tonight, the schoolboy will walk out hand-in-hand NRL captain Joel Thompson when the Indigenous All Stars team run out onto the field at Robina Stadium.
His mother said it was his dream to be a footy player, but he knew it wasn’t a reality for him.
“This is the closest thing for him to be able to get out on that field for him to play football. And if all he can do is run the boys out then that’s enough for us,” she said.
ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong has even offered free MMA lessons.
The worldwide reaction comes after Quaden and his mother Yarraka appeared on indigenous Australian TV channel NITV today to thank the nine-year-old’s supporters.
During the interview, Quaden encouraged others to stand up for themselves when face-to-face with a bully.
“If you get bullied, just stand up for yourself and don’t listen to what they say,” he said.
The 9-year-old also believes it’s up to parents to educate their children.
“The parents should make their kids be nice to people with disabilities,” he said.
Describing the reaction to the video, Quaden’s mother said, “Not in our wildest dreams would we have thought it would go worldwide and created such a media frenzy.”
