A woman was shocked to find an unexpected hole in her apartment after her ex-boyfriend’s roommate moved out, leaving many horrified.

A woman revealed the skin-crawling moment she found a peephole to her shower after her ex-boyfriend’s roommate moved out.

In a now viral TikTok, the US woman showed a reasonably large hole that went through the wall and into the bathroom, The Sun reports.

“I’m having a panic attack. That is our shower, that’s our shower curtain,” she said.

In the TikTok, she then asked her current boyfriend to go into their shower and said: “Oh my god, I can see it.”

Commenters weighed in on her situation, questioning how she never saw the hole before.

“The singular hole that goes all the way through was perfectly hidden under a corner shelf. No I didn’t see it,” the woman said in the comments.

In a follow-up video, she addressed her situation further, saying her current boyfriend confronted his ex-roommate about the peephole.

He apparently said: “It was just a mistake.”

“I don’t understand why he wouldn’t cover [the hole] if that was the case,” the woman said.

“I know a lot of people are saying it’s impossible to see through the hole, but I was shocked to see a complete view of the shower when I looked through. It’s since been filled in, and I am no longer living in that house.”

The woman explained that she’s pregnant with her first child and is worried about the effects of undue stress on her baby.

“It’s been disheartening and embarrassing. I don’t want to assume the worst but after seeing so many people say that it looks like a pinhole camera was placed there, I just can’t get that out of my head and it makes my skin crawl,” the woman wrote.

“I think it really exposes a common theme with most men, how they believe women are just objects for viewing pleasure that owe them warmth, sweetness, and love, and if you treat them neutrally and [if you] have strong boundaries, you’re an evil witch.”

‘Get the police involved’

TikTok users voiced their concerns in the comments left on her second video, advising the woman to file a police report.

“It’s important to at least document this with a police report. He will continue this behaviour,” one user commented.

“It’s definitely the size of a hidden camera. Get police involved,” another woman said.

“Definitely get the police involved … no way he didn’t take pictures/videos,” a third person wrote.

Another TikToker said: “By the looks of the drywall and the way it’s puckering outward in the bedroom means he drilled in from the bathroom side.”
