Woman’s giant five-inch middle finger goes viral on TikTok
TikTok is home to some very interesting things, but this woman’s clip has left thousands in disbelief. You’ll soon understand why.
Just when you thought you’ve seen it all on TikTok, out comes a woman with a weirdly long finger.
To prove just how lengthy it is, Olvia Mercea, 16, shared a clip holding her 12cm finger up against her face.
“My finger,” she simply captioned it.
The aspiring model, who goes by the TikTok handle @olliviahaha, left many people baffled by her”weirdly” long finger with her clip attracting 4.3 million views and 20,000 comments.

“The Eiffel Tower of fingers,” one person wrote.
“And I thought my finger was long,” said another.
“That ain’t a finger that’s a FANGA,” a third person commented, while a fourth added, “It’s taller than me”.
The US teen noticed her finger to be exceptionally long a couple years ago, telling Ladbible, at first she was insecure about it
“But then I realised it was actually pretty funny and something that would always bring out laughs,” she told the publication.
She also said she couldn’t believe the massive reaction the video has received online, describing it as “insane”.
“It is so awesome and crazy to think that I am even talking to you about having an article on my finger. I am really trying to get into modelling and hopefully, my TikTok has reached people in the industry too.”
According to Medical News Today, hand sizes vary according to a variety of factors, including biological sex and age with males tending to have larger hands than females.
It also states that the average length of a female hand is 17.2cm – which would mean Olivia’s giant finger is basically the length of a hand alone.
However, she’s not alone.
Last year, a 21-year-old man from the US also left many people stunned with his unusually long thumb.
Jacob Pina discovered he could extend his right thumb from its normal 5cm length to new heights as a teenager.
“I just dislocate my thumb, by forcing it out of its socket, to make it appear longer,” Mr Pina told Buzzfeed at the time.
“My doctor says it’s abnormal but can’t officially link it to any known medical conditions.”
He already has unusually long fingers, so when he extends his thumb it “looks crazy” to others.
“It’s weird on my hand,” Mr Pina told Boston.com. “It’s out of place. All my fingers are long, so when I stretch out my hand it kind of looks normal. But when I stick it up, it looks crazy.”
