Woman shares man‘s creepy message in response to housemate ad on TikTok
After posting an ad looking for a housemate, Brianna Lahoud was stunned to receive a response with one specific request – and it’s either terrifying or hilarious.
A woman has shared the creepy message she received from a man who wanted to rent her spare room.
TikTok user Brianna Lahoud shared the email she received from the anonymous househunter with her followers.
The video has since gone on to be viewed more than 125,000 times, with people divided other whether the man has a weird sense or humour or more sinister intentions.
Writing in the email, he says: “Hi! I saw you were looking for a roommate in OC! I just moved here and I’m trying to find something.”

He goes on to ask whether she would be willing to live with a man, which seems like a perfectly reasonable question, before he adds one last point.
“I would be willing to wear a chastity device 24/7 with you holding the keys so you know I’m not trying to do anything inappropriate as well!” he wrote.
“Please let me know either way!”
Unsurprisingly Brianna decided not to reply to the man, even after he followed up to ask her “what do you think?”

Her video has since received almost more than 11,000 likes and dozens of comments from people baffled by the message.
“This seems like an adventure,” one person commented, while another joked: “Is this the start of a rom-com?”
Others said it seemed like the man was simply trying to make a joke but it had misfired.
“I feel like you should say yes because either he’s one of the funniest people ever or he’s insane,” one person wrote.
“I don’t even know if he was trying to be funny but I am genuinely terrified,” another said.
But others advised her not to respond to the man, saying that the chastity belt “has to be his kink” that he was trying to get her to participate in.
“Y’all this he isn’t trying to be funny he’s trying to take advantage of her,” one person commented.
Brianna said that she never replied to the message as she “couldn’t think of anything good enough to reply to this masterpiece” – fair enough we would say.
