Molly was “snooping” the bathroom of a guy she was seeing when she noticed something and decided to take things into her own hands.

How to tell if your partner is cheating

A woman in the United States has taken things into his own hands after noticing something was off while “snooping” in the bathroom of a guy she had recently begun seeing.

@mollycsharpe shared a video to TikTok revealing how she had found a number of girls items in the bathroom.

They included hair ties and bobby pins next to the sink and a toiletry bag full of makeup and skincare.

“So last weekend I picked up a guy in a bar, I’ve seen him three or four times now,” Molly explains in the video, which has been viewed more than one million times.

“I was low key snooping in his bathroom and I found some female products. His roommate is single and I thought he was too, but if this is your man, he’s cheating.”

Molly also wrote a note to leave with the girl’s stuff which read: “If you’re seeing/dating Josh, he’s cheating!”

After the video was posted Molly shared an update in the comments, revealing she had confronted Josh over the women‘s items in the bathroom.

“He got upset/defensive, says he’s single but won’t explain products,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s a girlfriend but still suss so haven’t seen him since.”

Her video got more than a thousand comments from people applauding her “girl code” move.

“You’re a true girl’s girl, bless you,” one person wrote.

“This is sooooo SMART … all you girls should do this,” another commented.

Other girls commented and said they had either left stuff behind to alert any potential other women or had found out the guy they were seeing was cheating on them this way.

“THIS HAPPENED TO ME LOL. I found a note in my stuff. Bless you for leaving it there,” one person wrote.

“I used to put my hair tie in the pillow case with a note and my number. Toxic but it worked,” another said.

“When I start seeing someone I usually leave something in their car and something in their home,” one woman commented.

But some defended the guy, saying the female products could have an innocent explanation.

“I am single and I keep feminine hygiene products in my house because females exist,” one man wrote.

“He may not be. It could be straggling stuff from a former significant other. I have that in my bathroom too, but never cheating,” another said.
