Woman claims men are ‘terrified’ of her because she’s ‘pretty and smart’

A woman who proudly states she “knows her worth” has revealed she’s “very single” because no man will pursue a woman like her.

A US woman has gone viral after complaining that men are “terrified” of her because she’s “pretty and smart”.

Ashley, who goes by the handle @ashbabank on TikTok, said that people are often surprised to learn that she doesn’t have a boyfriend.

Not only is she “very single”, but she said she has zero men romantically pursuing her and hinted that it’s been eight months since she’s been intimate with someone, the New York Post reports.

The fashion stylist, who lives in Texas, added that people are surprised by the current state of her dating life because she’s “so pretty” but her looks have actually ruined her chances at romance.

Given her natural beauty combined with her hard-earned successes, “you’ve got a very terrifying woman on your hands … a very not easy woman,” Ashley insisted — which “men don’t like”.

“Men don’t like me. Men are very, very terrified of me.”

She then admitted that some men do like her but claimed that they are all either unavailable or “ugo [ugly] weirdos.”

“Because at the end of the day, I’m merely just a fantasy. I am not a real human because of the pretty and scary,” Ashley said.

“So yes, I’m alone. I’m very, very, very, very single.”

Ashley may be single, but she’s not alone in feeling like her looks, brains and success have hindered her dating life.

“It’s so hard to be pretty AND SMART. Like, I wish I was delulu and had no standards but here we are,” a top comment reads.

“Yup. They idealise you, then at the end resent and hate you for everything they loved and adored about you at the beginning because you bring out all their insecurities. Still single, but happy,” another agreed.

Last year, the concept of pretty privilege went viral as people debated the advantages and disadvantages of their good looks.

Some boasted about the free trips and gifts they’ve received as a result of being “conventionally attractive”.

While others have complained that people don’t take them seriously.
