Woman changes her bridesmaid’s dress days before the wedding
A bridesmaid has been accused of trying to “upstage the bride” after revealing what she did before her friend’s wedding.
A woman has taken it upon herself to cut up and change her bridesmaid dress two days before her friend’s wedding.
Brittney Rae posted a video to TikTok where she showed a before and after of the dress.
She branded the original gown as “frumpy” and “ugly” on her account, which is why she wanted to change it up.
She showed the designs she had drawn which inspired the change, The Sun reported.
“Transforming my frumpy dress two days before the wedding,” she said.
“I had to completely deconstruct it first. I was a little stressed.
“If I mess up I have nothing to wear and the bride will kill me.”
She then shared photos of the finished product, which was a chic number that showed a bit more skin than the original.

People were divided in the comments, with some slamming her for changing the dress.
“Imagine thinking you’re the main character at someone’s wedding,” one person wrote.
“I’m going to say this... her wedding is not about you!!” said another.
“Then don’t try upstage. We can all tell what you’re doing,” a third person wrote.
“I would never be okay with this and that’s fine,” another said.
“I’m not the bride but I just hope you wouldn’t steal the attention from your friend.” another said.
Others acknowledged that she did a good job but said they preferred the original gown.
“Aww I prefer the original,” one viewer wrote.
“It looks great but the original version was soooo dreamy,” said another.
Others came to Brittney’s defence, pointing out the fact Brittney could have simply been told to buy a dress of a certain colour.
“She probably got told to wear a certain colour. She obviously wouldn’t change it if she was told to wear a certain dress,” one commenter wrote.
“Y’all she clearly just bought a dress in the right colour and didn’t have to have a specific style.” another said.
At the time of writing, Brittney hasn’t confirmed whether this is true or not.
Earlier this year, an Australian woman shocked her viewers after taking to TikTok to share a jaw-dropping tale about her alleged “bridesmaid from hell”.
The former bride shared the story to social media and left her followers shocked after “spilling the tea” on what she claims happened in the lead up to her wedding.
The TikTok user captioned the heated video “thought it was about time to share this story” before getting into the tale of what she claims occurred.
The woman claims her former friend and bridesmaid took $5000 meant for hen’s night accommodation and then “did a runner”.
“We got in contact with her mum, and without even flinching, she transferred us the $5000 with no questions asked.
“While all this was happening, we heard nothing from her, and realised she had blocked us on everything.

“Once we got the money back, we managed to book an epic hen’s weekend, and I’m so grateful.
“Since this all happened in 2020, we have not heard from her, or seen her. She’s literally fallen off the face of the earth.”
