A young woman has revealed she was featured in a viral Bunnings advertisement that was released ahead of Easter.

A young woman has revealed she was featured in a viral Bunnings advertisement that was released ahead of Easter.

The blonde, who goes by @palace_thorley on social media, posted a video of the Bunnings advertisement to TikTok.

In the clip, the young woman is standing among the paint tile samples encouraging people to get in store ahead of the Easter long weekend to get their DIY projects done.

“People say I look like this girl,” she wrote over the video, before turning to the camera to reveal what she looked like.

“Oh wait, it is me.”

Appearing in her Bunnings uniform in the TikTok, she revealed that the stars of Bunnings ads are in fact actual employees and not paid models or actors.

She also said, in the comments on her post, that was not paid anything additional for appearing in the ad.

The video, posted yesterday, has accumulated more than 280,000 views and close to 240 comments.

“I didn’t think a Bunnings ad would give me a new crush,” one social media user joked.

Another said the advertisement came on the television several times while he was watching football over the weekend.

A fellow Bunnings worker said they also wanted to get cast on one of the ads but had no idea how and asked for advice.

One social media user drew a comparison between Palace and Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron on Netflix television show Outer Banks.

Another Bunnings worker said they were disappointed that no one had come to film an advertisement at the store they worked at for a while.
