Teacher Hailey Clifton-Carmark had sex with student and ‘left mark’

The teacher in the US was repeatedly told by school administration she was “too close with students” before the incident.

An abusive teacher has admitted to having sex with a schoolboy after wearing “tight leggings and low-cut tops” to show off her figure.

Hailey Clifton-Carmark, 26, deliberately wore highly revealing outfits and left “scratch marks” on a student, court documents have revealed.

As reported by The Sun, the mother-of-two was told repeatedly by school administration she was “too close with students”.

The ex-maths teacher has now admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old student at Laquey High School in Missouri.

Classmates are said to have acted as “lookouts” while the relations took place during school hours.

Ms Clifton-Carmark fled to visit family in Texas on December 23 after hearing the allegations from police, which she originally denied.

The incident is believed to have led to her divorce being “pushed through” after witnesses presented police with photos that are believed to show scratch marks down the student’s back after the pair had sex in his driveway.

“The alleged misconduct is inexcusable and does not meet the professional standards for district employees,” the district’s superintendent, Kent Stoumbaugh, said.

“The district took immediate action once we were aware of this situation.

“The employee has not been in the district since December 8, 2023, and we do not anticipate her return.”

Mr Stoumbaugh also commented that this was Ms Clifton-Carmark’s first teaching job, which she had been at for a year-and-a-half.

The allegations first came to light on December 7.

She was then arrested on January 5 and charged with sexual contact with a student, statutory rape in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and child molestation.

According to court documents, texts were found on Hailey’s phone from a search warrant that showed an affair between her and her student.

A plea deal has since been signed dropping the charges to felony sexual contact with a student for the crimes that took place between November and December 2023.

The victim’s father, Mark Creighton, allegedly knew his son was involved in the intimate relationship.

Mr Creighton said that they “are going to do it behind my back, so I may as well let it happen”, according to prosecutors.

He “knew of the relationship of his minor child and the 26-year-old teacher, and instead of reporting the information, he continued to cover for them and allowed the relationship to continue” and “even allowed Hailey to come over to his residence and see the victim while he was present”, according to prosecutors.

He was also reportedly aware of the lookouts that Ms Clifton-Carmark used during her and his son’s meetings.

Mr Creighton is facing felony charges for condoning the alleged illicit relationship, but according to Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin S Hillman, his trial is “on hold” until after Ms Clifton-Carmark’s.
