Sydney woman writes angry note to tradies for using indoor toilet

A Sydney woman has blasted a tradie in a letter in which she says he “disrespectfully” used her new toilet – but is her complaint fair?

Why Australia has a tradie shortage

A Sydney woman has let loose at a tradie who “disrespectfully” used her new toilet, blasting him for taking “the virginity” of the commode before she had a chance to use it herself.

In a note shared to the Everything Sutherland Shire Facebook group, the woman royally flushed the unnamed tradie complaining she had to spend time “cleaning your sh*t” from the toilet.

The letter begins by telling the tradesman working in the house that the home’s toilets are “not rightfully yours to use”.

“We are paying for an outdoor toilet for your use,” she wrote. “Not only did you take the virginity of our toilet but you disrespectfully ignored the seal sign, ripped the tape and continued to use it.”

Adding insult to injury the woman also claims “it is the second time I am cleaning your sh*t from this toilet” and to “please don’t do it again”.

It’s not the first time tradie behaviour has gone viral, however, last month it was a prospective customer that was in the firing line.

WOMAN SLAMMED FOR 12AM TRADIE TEXT
The UK woman known by her Twitter handle as Evandra, shared a screenshot of messages she had with a tradie after inquiring about the cost of carpets.

In the exchange, which has since been retweeted more than 13,000 times, Evandra texts: “Hi could I have a quote pls.”

“Yes! here’s a quote!! Who the f**k asks for carpets at 12.15am????” the furious tradie responded.

The UK woman was slammed for the late night text.

“Loooll??? But what in the name of customer service have I just experienced,” Evandra captioned the post, but not everyone agreed with her outrage.

Many backed the tradie’s response and said Evandra should have texted during standard working hours. “Like if you emailed or sent an online query – grand – but you texted him,” another person added, while a fourth person said: “The notification most likely woke him up? I’d be p**sed as hell if someone texted me at that hour about work and it’s not an emergency.”

However, many also blamed the tradie saying he simply shouldn’t have responded.

“He’s in the wrong. He didn’t have to reply at 12.15am. He could have waited until what he deemed a reasonable hour,” one woman wrote.
