Stunning mum and daughter duo mistaken for being sisters
A glamorous mum says she is often mistaken for being her daughter’s sister thanks to her long blonde locks and age-defying looks.
A stunning mum and daughter duo have gone viral on TikTok after getting mistaken for sisters.
It is usually her hilarious dance moves in her fluffy Pink slippers that spark comments from people on TikTok, The Sun reported.
But this time, Amy-Jo Simpson caused a stir with a video of herself and her daughter on holiday.
Amy-Jo took to the social media site to share a catwalk-style clip alongside her 19-year-old daughter, Megan.
And in response, one person wrote: “Wait what … you have a 19-year-old? I don’t believe it.”
So in answer to the comment, Amy-Jo shared another video of herself, her husband and her daughter sunbathing by the pool on their vacation.
“Here she is!” Amy-Jo captioned her video, while tagging Megan.
Others commenting on the newer clip admitted they’d mistaken Megan for Amy-Jo’s sibling.
“I thought you were sisters!” one said.
With someone else agreeing, writing: “That’s your sister!”
“You’re more like sisters,” a third concurred.
Another person commented: “Having our babies young so we can enjoy our 40’s.” To which Amy-Jo replied, “exactly!”
“Beautiful young lady, beautiful mum!” a third commented.
With another person writing: “Awe you both are beautiful and I love when y’all dance together, great mom & daughter relationship.”
The mum caused a stir last year after posting a video talking about the different types of dads she encounters at the school gates.
In a funny TikTok video, influencer Amy-Jo Simpson ran through the typical types of fathers you see at the school gate.
Amy-Jo started with the young dad, the one who turns up in baggy clothes and his cap on backwards.
Next she flagged up the cyclist dad who enthusiastically waves his children off in full lycra.
Then she moved on to the “confused dad” who never quite seems sure what he should be handing his kids to take with them.
Next up the dad that all the mums secretly fancy with his suave smile.
Then she imitated the “military dad” who marches his kids into the playground.
Finishing up with the dad who wears shorts and flip flops all year round - and we all know one of those.
Fellow TikTokers were quick to comment on the witty video.
“100% I’m the confused dad. Even turned up at the wrong school once.” one said.
Another added: “To be honest, I think us dads all secretly think we’re the ‘everyone fancies dad’!”
While a third said: “Cyclist dad is spot on.”
