Stripper reveals cheating truth about Aussie bucks parties
A former stripper has revealed how many men cheat during their bucks parties - and it’s way more than you would expect.
“Eighty per cent of men will cheat at their bucks party.” At least according to Hayley Davies, a former stripper.
Ms Davies, 25, now resides in America but told news.com.au that working in a strip club definitely changed her view of fidelity in Australia.
“I worked in a strip club that frequently hosted bucks parties, and I would say that majority of the grooms and their friends would at the very least try and make out with you,” she said.
The 25-year-old said part of her routine involved foam, which could often end up on audience members.
So she’d take them upstairs to wash them off, and she said most men would take that moment alone to try to make their move. A staggering 80 per cent of them, in fact.
Ms Davies said she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with men going to strip clubs for bachelor parties if their partners are OK with it, but she’s found they often use the occasion as an excuse to stray.
“I think men who cheat on their partners don’t think strippers count as people. It is a fantasy and they don’t think it counts. You can tell by the way they talk about you,” she explained.
Ms Davies said she’s not a fan of men who are willing to cheat on their partners, especially right before they walk down the aisle, but it isn’t her job to be the monogamy police.
“If [bucks] are going to cheat they’re going to cheat. I don’t like it, but of course, I’m going to take their money. At the end of the day it’s on them,” she explained.
For her personally, it is a complete turn-off.
“I think they suck. It is such a horrible thing to do right when they are going to commit. It is wrong. It is completely wrong,” she said.
“It is scarily normal for men to cheat at their bucks parties.”
Ms Davies said it is also impossible to tell which men are loyal. She’s seen no pattern - less stereotypically attractive guys are just as likely to cheat as good-looking ones.
“The men who cheat are always the ones you least expect. No one is safe,” she admitted.
Even after they are married, and even just newly married, she still finds cheating is rife.
“You wouldn’t believe how many newly married men’s numbers I have in my phone.”
The whole thing has impacted Ms Davies to the point it has changed her perspective on romance. It is hard to want to go out and find love when she’s witnessed the disappointing underbelly.
“I don’t really date, but seeing how often men cheat has definitely changed my thoughts on monogamous relationships.”
