Starbucks worker vents over TikTok order with long list of demands
A Starbucks staffer has taken to Twitter to share an elaborate order that has been inspired by a TikTok trend, with fellow workers also furious.
A customer’s elaborate coffee order has infuriated a Starbucks worker who has demanded the viral TikTok trend be put to an end.
Josie, a Starbucks employee, took to Twitter over the weekend, venting about a complicated Venti Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino that a customer named Edward had ordered.
Josie took a snap of the long list of ingredients to be added, which included five bananas, extra whipped cream, seven pumps of caramel sauce and one pump of honey.
“On (today’s) episode of why I wanna quit my job,” Josie tweeted.

The photo was of the customer’s frappe order along with a receipt of his 13 very sweet and specific ingredients stuck on the front.
It was a recipe that left Josie evidently annoyed – but it won’t be the last with Edward’s frappe one of the many that have been inspired by a new TikTok trend which encourages coffee lovers to get outlandishly creative with their orders.
Fellow baristas jumped on Josie’s tweet to share snaps of similar orders following the trend.
“This order comes in every other week,” one woman wrote alongside a photo that showed a receipt with more than 30 ingredients on it.

“I was behind a woman who had an order that ridiculous and insisted it be heated to 37 degrees Celsius ... ‘Not 36, not 38 – I will KNOW the difference,’” one woman wrote.
One baffled twitter user asked how one order can have things like five bananas added to it.
“Sometimes we have straight up bananas and we blend them into frap and stuff but they get blended in – it’s not a syrup,” a Starbucks staffer had confirmed.
Another employee clarified the cost of additional ingredients after some wondered how much an order like that would set them back.
“They only charge for syrup if the drink doesn’t originally have a syrup (of the same price) included in it,” the staffer wrote.
“If you were to order just a latte and put honey blend AND vanilla in it, you would only be charged .50, but if you got vanilla and white mocha, I believe it’s .50 and .70,” she added.

One person raged that after seeing the “ridiculous” orders, Starbucks employees in the US deserve more than the $US15 ($A19) minimum wage.
“This sh*t is cruel and NASTY. The workers deserve better,” he wrote.
While Josie seems to be enjoying his new-found Twitter fame, he did say he hopes he doesn’t get fired by exposing Starbucks’ very creative clientele.
“Y’all gon (sic) get me fired. Stop interacting. F**k it if I get fired so be it,” he joked.
