Porn star Zoe Parker dies in sleep at 24

A former US porn star, who recently announced she had quit the adult film industry, has died suddenly in her sleep at just 24-years-old.

Former adult film star Zoe Parker has died at the age of 24.

Ms Parker reportedly died in her sleep on Saturday, according to a GoFundMe set up by her fiancé Joe Campbell.

“We are sad to report that Zoe Parker passed away in her sleep on September 12 at around 2am,” the page read.

“She was only 24 years old.”

The ex-porn star’s death has come months after she quit the adult industry and recently announced her engagement.

“After leaving the adult industry, Zoe Parker moved back home to Texas to be near her family to start a new life,” the GoFundMe said.

“She had started doing great and recently announced her engagement and by all accounts seemed truly happy for the first time in her life,” the page added.

A cause of death has not been announced.

As of Monday afternoon, the GoFundMe campaign which had raised $650, was no longer taking donations.

Tributes have begun to flow in for the 24-year-old.

“Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Zoe Parker. We’re sending our strength and love to her family, loved ones and fans,” the Adult Performers Guild wrote on Twitter.

“I spoke to Zoe Parker just last night. I still can’t even believe she’s gone,” an insider told industry news blog MikeSouth.com.

“As you can imagine, her fiancé is utterly devastated. Zoe loved him so much.”

Ms Parker first entered the porn industry in 2014.

Two years later she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career in the industry appearing in more than 120 scenes up until 2019, when she quit.

She earned an AVN Awards nomination for Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene for in 2017, the Daily Star reported.
