Pip Edwards sweet post about her son is being judged for a wild reason

An very sweet family photo posted by Pip Edwards is coping flack online for an unexpected reason.

Influencer and businesswoman Pip Edwards is getting bizarre criticism for posing alongside her son for his year 12 formal.

The 44-year-old has almost 200,000 Instagram followers and is the creative director of Ksubi and co-founder of P.E. Nation.

She’s also Justice’s mum, and she proudly posted a photo alongside him and his date for his formal.

“The most special night celebrating,” she wrote.

“High school is fully done and dusted. We did it! And you are one magical human.”

Edwards added that she was the “proudest” and “happiest” mum on earth.

She looked great in a polka-dot dress, and he looked dapper in a black suit as he celebrated the major milestone.

The post quickly gained attention, and plenty of people commented on and praised the sweet family photos.

“So beautiful! What an achievement,” one complimented.

“So special,” someone else praised.

“Well done! You and him,” another said.

Although Edwards gushed about her son in the caption, some people online claim she was making her son’s formal about herself.

Generally, when someone’s child goes to a formal, there’s usually a moment where they stand around and get photos with their families and, later, of course, their schoolmates.

One person claimed her actions were “bizarre,” and another said all the photos she posted were “embarrassing.”

Someone else said she managed to make the formal “all about herself”, and one wrote that the post showed she had an “ego”.

Edwards also recently appeared on the podcast Something to Talk About, where she spoke about her frustration with often being defined by her ex-boyfriends.

Justice’s father is Ksubi fashion designer Dan Single. She dated cricketer Michael Clarke and has been linked to businessman Geoff Bainbridge.

Edwards pointed out that there are more “interesting” things about her other than who she’s allegedly dated.

“Why aren’t you seeing the women that has really had an incredible career trajectory in an industry, worked for some incredible businesses, made some kind of inroads?” She asked.

“Raised a child on her own, independently financially, who’s a great friend, who has energy.”

Edwards has also previously celebrated on Instagram Justice finishing high school with a very sweet post.

“I actually can’t believe it! We did it bubba we did it,” she wrote.

“By far my greatest most treasured achievement. 18 years of loving you endlessly beyond words !!! Soooooo proud of you and the incredible man that you are with the finest soul.”
