The internet is divided over how one woman organised her groceries at the checkout while she was shopping at Coles.

Coles shopper shows best way to organise bags

The internet has been left shocked at how one woman organised her groceries at the checkout to be packed.

The TikTok user @peachedcosmetics was at the Coles register when she snapped a quick video of her conveyor belt.

The woman placed bags between bunches of groceries to indicate what she wanted in each bag.

“Who else puts their shopping bags in between their groceries so the cashier knows what you want them to put into each bag,” text asked over the clip.

Another added: “I’d hate having someone pack my groceries! It won’t be packed as I want it to be … and the cashier and I both lose time.”

A third disgruntled customer said: “I’m sorry in what country are the cashiers expected to pack for you??”

A spokesperson for the supermarket giant said staff were always happy to pack a certain way for individual customers.

“Coles team members love providing exceptional service to customers who are completing their shop,” the spokesperson said.

“If a customer would like their bags packed in a certain way, they can mention it to one of our friendly team members at the checkout who will be more than happy to help.”
