Only people with fantastic eyesight can spot the snake
Originally taken in 2017 by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, this picture has gone viral once again as people desperately hunt for the hidden python.
People are desperately trying to guess where a snake is hidden in this backyard photo.
The picture, originally taken in 2017 by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, has gone viral once again after it was picked up by the New York Post.
The image shows a typical backyard in Queensland, featuring a fence, retaining wall and a bit of lawn.
But in there somewhere, a snake is also lurking.
When it was first posted on Facebook five years ago, the snake catcher challenged followers to see if they could find the reptile.
The snake could be hidden in the bricks, fence or surrounding shrubbery, as the backyard is filled with crevices for a carpet python to hide in.
Many people incorrectly guessed it was the long garden hose running along the centre of the frame, hidden between bricks or around the corner, just out of sight, of the house.
But one person was spot on.
“Middle portion of hanging green trees and snake head also visible,” the person commented.
It was later confirmed by the snake catcher that was exactly where the snake was hidden.
Many of the New York Post’s audience was shocked at the size of the python.
“Imagine that one,” one person commented on the image.
Another said, “Ewwwwww,” next to a gif of an unimpressed Buggs Bunny saying, “Eh no.”
Another compared the snake to a sasquatch – another term for Bigfoot.
