An image of a dolphin eating a fish has riled up social media users as many struggle to find the second animal – can you see it?

Social media is blowing a collective gasket trying to figure out yet another viral, animal-based optical illusion.

According to the creator, only a small percentage of people can solve this optical illusion.

The mind-melting image shows a dolphin eating a fish with a ship in the distance and seemingly no other fauna in sight.

“Only 1 per cent of people can find the second animal in this image,” declared TikTok creator @pasillusion in a viral video.

But the visual jigsaw stumped puzzlers on social media with many mistakenly thinking the fish in the dolphin’s mouth was the second animal.

The illusion connoisseur challenged people to see more than just a dolphin eating a fish.

If you struggled to see it – you’ll kick yourself when you find out where the animal is.

Critter number two is actually a bird – multiple birds, actually.

To see them, per the clip, users need simply flip their phone upside down, whereupon Flipper eating a fish in the waves becomes a flock of birds flying over the ocean.

Specifically, the dolphin’s inverted tail and head form two different birds, with its head evoking a pelican flying with a fish in its mouth and the water splashes resembling the tips of its wings.

Meanwhile, the rest of the flock is comprised of the upside-down white caps of the ocean.

Many TikTok users were less than impressed by the twist, claiming there were three animals, not two.

“There is three, fish, bird and dolphin,” one raged.

“Fish, bird and dolphin so technically it’s three,” another agreed.

As one declared: “This is stupid.”

A different optical illusion shared @pasillusion also caused a stir recently after the content creator claimed there was “secret image” hidden in an optical illusion – but didn’t reveal what it was.

The image shows a bubblegum pink square with a darker pink circle inside, that was captioned: “Can YOU See The Hidden Image?! Let me know.”

There was a variety in the comments of what people claimed to see — or not see.

Some claimed to see a number of objects — a bed, a smile and even a boat.

But the majority people who reported seeing an image in the circle said they could make out the shape of a bottle.
