An Australian influencer has announced her engagement, saying her “worst fear in the entire world” came true during the proposal.

Mikaela Testa, who earns a living posting on an adult subscription service, took to social media to announce boyfriend Maxwell Krause had asked her to marry him.

“My worst fear in the entire world happened tonight,” Ms Testa said in a TikTok clip, where she boasts 2.4 million followers on the social media platform.

“My boyfriend asked me to be his wife tonight while I didn’t have my nails done. He begged me, he made a reservation at the bar we met at in Japan and I was lazy and said ‘Baby, let’s just order some room service. Let’s stay in the room, look at this beautiful view. Let’s watch it and stay in our pyjamas’.”

The 25-year-old said Mr Krause even tried to convince her to order in some nice steaks, but she desperately wanted fries and fruit instead.

“But, I could not ask for a better outcome. I have so much anxiety, I am so happy it happened in private where I could feel comfortable and just live in the moment with this beautiful view in my favourite city in the world,” she said.

Ms Testa said Mr Krause did well, picking out a princess cut diamond and a gold band with diamonds on it for her engagement ring. She said it was “so” her style.

She said she was both shocked but not shocked because they had such a healthy relationship.

“We love each other so much. It just feels right. We just love each other so unconditionally, we never fight,” she said.

“And when you know, you just know.”

She said she felt blessed and couldn’t have asked for a better man in her life.

“I’m just the happiest woman alive right now,” she said.

Ms Testa and Mr Krause initially met online in 2022, before continuing to text throughout 2023 and meeting in Japan for Ms Testa’s birthday in March.

Ms Testa’s relationships have been public, including her break-up with Anna Paul’s brother Atis.

Mr Paul was the first to address his break-up from the OnlyFans creator – who is also widely known as the “crying influencer” after she broke down over Instagram removing likes in 2019 – telling his Instagram followers that the couple “love each other so much and decided to be friends now”.

While Testa was initially less forthcoming about the break-up – only telling her fans at the time that their supportive messages were making her “so emotional” after the three-year relationship ended.

Last year, in an interview with White Fox After Hours, Ms Testa opened up about the aftermath of the break up, labelling it “hell”.

“It was seriously hell – like I had never been through something so bad ever,” the TikTok star said, adding she hadn’t really spoken in depth about it since the split happened.

“No one’s allowed to say anything because it will open up a wound but it’s healed.”

She said she was in a good place but at the time she hadn’t had a serious relationship until met Paul, and said his life became hers and – as she doesn’t have a lot of contact with her family – his family became hers as well.

Dozens of influencers congratulated Ms Testa on her engagement, including her ex-boyfriend’s sister.

“Ahhhhhhhhhh Congratulations!!!!!!!! This is so so exciting I’m so happy for you I can’t believe it,” Anna commented on Ms Testa’s Instagram post.

Latisha Clark said: “This is amazing/ Congratulations you two, couldn’t be more happy for you.”

“OMG congratulations Mik,” Georgia McCudden said.
