The bride in the so-called “wedding of the century” appears to have deleted her TikTok account, as her new husband faces a possible life behind bars.

Groom facing jail after $89m wedding

The bride in the so-called “wedding of the century” appears to have deleted her TikTok account – which featured videos of her $US56 million ($86 million) nuptials after news of her new husband’s criminal charges broke.

Madeleine Brockway, a 26-year-old Florida car dealership heiress, became a viral sensation for the clips of her extravagant, five-day November wedding celebration in Paris she shared on her now-defunct TikTok, the New York Post reports.

But the groom, Jacob Chase LaGrone, is stealing the spotlight from the bride now that social media users’ opinions have soured over accusations against him.

The 29-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault against a public servant after he allegedly fired a gun at police in Texas on March 14.

Three officers were responding to a home after receiving multiple calls reporting a disturbance at the address when LaGrone allegedly shot at them.

LaGrone “intentionally and knowingly threaten[ed] imminent bodily injury” and “did use or exhibit a deadly weapon during the commission of the assault, namely a firearm”, the indictment charges.

He appeared in court on Thursday local time, and could face up to life in prison if convicted.

Ms Brockway did not attend the hearing at Tarrant Country District Court, according to NBC News.

LaGrone has been offered a plea deal in which he’d be sentenced to 25 years in exchange for pleading guilty and forgoing a trial.

The couple’s wildly expensive festivities included a rehearsal dinner at the Palais Garnier, an overnight stay at the Palace of Versailles and even an intimate performance by Maroon 5.

The bride, the daughter of Bob Brockway, who owns Mercedes-Benz dealerships across Florida, wore a Dior Haute couture wedding gown.

She has also set her Instagram page to private.
