Macca’s staffer’s shocks detailing how to make a popular drink

A McDonald’s employee who detailed how a popular coffee drink is made has left viewers horrified by a detail in their video.

Coffee fans have been left in shock after a Macca’s worker revealed how staff make a popular drink – but viewers were distracted by another detail in the clip.

A US McDonald’s worker Yanii detailed how she makes the menu item, a combination of coffee and hot chocolate, for customers in a video that has been viewed almost 70,000 times.

But as Yanii – who often shares clips from her job on her TikTok account @kallme.yaniii – took viewers through the step-by-step process, people noticed something else.

“What I’m more concerned about is the crust around that coffee machine,” one said.

“The filth where the milk and coffee is coming out nasty asf,” a second agreed.

“Bruh clean y’all machine,” another quipped.

As one declared: “I’m surprised that machine is even up and running. Looks clogged.”

Others pointed out there wasn’t a lot of skill involved in preparing the drink, which is also in Australia, compared to buying a mocha at a coffee shop or cafe.

“It’s not even hand crafted,” one commenter remarked.

“I’m a barista, this is shocking,” someone else agreed.

In the clip, Yanii starts by filling the plastic cup with ice and adds “three pumps of mocha in a small cup”.

She then places the cup under the machine and explains what buttons need to be pressed.

And just like that, the machine mixes together the rest of the ingredients to make the iced drink. With a metal spoon Yanii stirs the drink to make sure it’s properly mixed together.

After that she tops it with some whipped cream and a “mocha drizzle”.

It’s not the first time employees have spilled secrets about the fast-food giant on TikTok, with one user stating drive-through workers can hear your every word – even when you think they’re not listening.

Deja Zimm, who goes by the username @get0utm3swamp, stunned social media when she warned customers to be careful about their in-car conversations.

“Just an fyi, as a McDonald’s worker, I can still hear you after your order. I only stop hearing you once you pull away from the speaker.

“So keep your music and sh*t talking lower.”

Deja claims to “have heard a lot of stuff I don’t think I should have” and revealed: “This isn’t just McDonald’s, this is any place with a drive through.”
