Former Olympian Lisa Curry took to Instagram to post another heartbreaking tribute to her eldest daughter who tragically died three months ago.

Jaimi Kenny, the oldest daughter of Curry and fellow Olympian Grant Kenny, died on September 14 after a battle with a long-term illness.

On Sunday, Curry shared a touching photo of her family wearing a T-shirt with a printed image of her late daughter.

“Always together. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas xx,” she captioned the post.

In the image, Curry, 58, was joined by ex-husband Grant, 57, and their children, daughter Morgan Kenny and son Jett Kenny.

Morgan’s husband Ryan Gruell and their two young children were also in the family portrait.

After sharing the image with her more than 98,000 Instagram followers, many were quick to comment on the “beautiful” tribute to Jaimi.

“A beautiful idea to hold your beautiful girl close to your heart Lisa,” one follower wrote.

“I thought of you on Christmas Day Lisa, first one without your beautiful girl. It must have been very hard. I hope in some way it was still special with your family, lots of love and hugs,” added another.

“Oh my heart. Always together for Christmas and always. You’re all such beautiful brave souls,” a third person commented.

Earlier this month, Curry penned another heartbreaking post to her late daughter.

Alongside a selfie of the two of them, she wrote: “Three months … it feels like yesterday. Missing my baby girl.”

She has taken to Instagram a number of times to publicly grieve her oldest daughter.

A day after the 33-year-old died, Curry said she could “barely breathe”.

“Our hearts are completely broken,” she wrote. “Our beautiful daughter Jaimi has lost her battle with a long-term illness and passed away peacefully in hospital (on Monday) morning with her loving family by her side.

“So loved. So beautiful. So kind to everyone … So painful. I can barely breathe.”

In early October, Curry opened up about the “red flags” she saw in her late daughter in the years before her tragic death.

Ms Curry said Jaimi had been diagnosed with a “chemical imbalance” as a teenager and died after “many years of ups and downs” with her health.

“I know people want to know why and how, but it’s not important at this time, or maybe ever, I don’t know,” she wrote.

“What I will say though is that Jeff (Butterworth) diagnosed her with a chemical imbalance 18 years ago when we started to see some tiny red flags.

“Sometimes, an individual, even adults like us, can disregard little red flags, thinking it doesn’t matter or won’t matter.”

In the post published in the Happy Hormones Facebook group, Curry said she was still grappling with her eldest child’s death.

“We held Jaimi when she took her first breath and we held her as she took her last. I still can’t believe it; it doesn’t seem real,” she said.

“It’s given me the heaviest heart. Some days I can’t even get out of bed or function.”
