Kmart shopper rages over customers’ ‘despicable’ act
A Kmart shopper enraged by the “selfish” antics of two customers has shared photos of them in the act, asking: “How is this acceptable?”
A Kmart shopper has taken to social media to blast another customer’s shopping antics, asking: “How is this acceptable?”
The disgruntled woman snapped two shoppers loading up several trolleys worth of discounted women’s shoes, claiming the pair were buying the $2 footwear in bulk to “sell at the markets” for profit.
She also shared photos of the pair paying for their controversial haul at the Kmart checkout, claiming stock had been “cleared out”.
“I went into Kmart today and as soon as I walked in, there were two people with THREE shopping trolleys FULL and overloaded with every single pair of shoes that were discounted to $2 in the women’s shoe aisles,” she said on the Kmart Hacks & Decor page.
“I went to the shoe aisle and there was NOTHING. These two people had cleared it all out.
She went on to state that the photos only showed one “overloaded trolley” but said there were two more behind the counter.
The Facebook user went on to say she had approached the couple and “politely” asked why they were snapping up so many shoes.
“They said it was so that they could sell at the markets for more money. So not for charity,” the shopper said.
“How is this acceptable – when they clear everything on special out, only to sell at the markets?”
The post angered many Facebook users who agreed the shoppers were being “selfish”.
“This is despicable. Makes me so angry,” said one.
“So, so selfish. What the actual hell?” another agreed.
“When I think of how many folks are doing it tough right now after all the floods, this is just sad to see,” someone else wrote.
While one said: “My first thought was that they were probably buying them to donate, which is admirable. But if they’re selling them off, that’s just wrong.”
