An $8 dupe of an item more than four times the price has caught the eye of social media users, who are attempting to snag it in their size.

An $8 dupe of an item more than four times the price has caught the eye of social media users, who are attempting to snag it in their size.

TikTok user Jarnah McMillan took to the social app to share her latest Kmart discovery — a phone case where people can put their lipstick in the back.

“Um OK Kmart … $8. Literally what do Kmart not sell,” the clip was captioned.

The case came in a variety of sizes to match certain phone types and colours, including a silver sparkle, lavender, ombre and a zebra print.

While fans of the product didn’t name the brand Rhode, which was created by Hailey Bieber, many did make reference to it being a “dupe”.

“What’s that I smell? Uh, uh, a dupe,” one social media user commented.

While another said that Kmart worked “overtime”.

But many were just excited they didn’t have to drop $35 on the original product, while others commiserated about it not being available in their model of phone.

“I hate Kmart now bc they don’t have my phone size like they have the 11 but they don’t have the 12 pro max like huh,” one social media user commented.

Another said: “Everything except for iPhone 15 tho.”

“Cries in Nokia,” another added.

One said: “Kmart is that girl!!”

“Sportsgirl and Mecca sell ones that stick in the back of the covers,” one social media user commented.

One added: “That looks VERY inconvenient, just use a handbag or pockets to hold lip balm”

“I practically live at Kmart at this point,” one said.

“Cries in never being able to get a phone case from Kmart because I don’t have an iPhone or the standard Android phone,” another social media user said.
