Aussies are fawning over an addition to Kmart’s fashion section, with one shopper saying they have been eyeing it off for weeks.

Kmart recently released the PU Camera Crossbody Bag, which comes in green, black and nude.

The bag - which is being described as a summer staple by fans - features a cross body strap with a small pocket on it for a phone or a wallet on it.

The bag is 20 centimetres in length, meaning it has room for anything the wearer needs to carry around.

It retails for $15.

Influencer Brittany Melinda took to Instagram, where she has more than 38,000 followers, to share her excitement about the bag.

“POV: You’ve just found the cutest bag for summer,” she captioned the video.

Social media users also expressed their love for the item.

“No joke, I’ve been eyeing off that bag for weeks,” one commented on the clip.

“Just something about the green I love!”
