I’m trolled for how I dress as a mom but I don’t care

A young mother in the US has come under fire for her wardrobe choices that include tiny shorts, crop tops, and body-hugging short dresses.

Digital creator AJ, also known as @beautywithaj on TikTok, typically posts content that focuses on fashion, beauty, fitness, and a regular day in her life.

The fitness lover made her opinions known about the online trolls in a video directed at her haters, The US Sun reports.

AJ has a large amount of self-confidence as shown by her many TikTok videos that show off her hourglass figure and personality.

In a quick eight-second video, she subtly claps back at online trolls who criticise what she wears, especially as a mother.

The 29-year-old woman prides herself on her healthy lifestyle and doesn’t care what others think of her.

The confident mother can be seen wearing a black one-shoulder crop top with one long sleeve that complements her large bust and goes perfectly with her medium-wash denim short shorts.

She completes the style with a pair of black strappy heels that lean out her toned legs and silver hoop earrings.

The words “You are a mom and you dress like that?” are written across the center of the visual.

At the start of the video, the content creator closes the passenger side door of her black truck before she walks toward the camera.

She then mouths along to the popular TikTok audio that says: “I’m sorry, not everybody fits in the bad b***h genre.”

To her online audience, the statement also comes across as a body-positive message that anyone can wear whatever they feel comfortable in, without fear of judgment.

“I’ve learned if you’re covered up or showing skin people always have something to say. You rocking that outfit,” one commented.

“Woman, once you become a mom [sic] DONT YOU EVER LOSE YOURSELF to just THAT role. You’re a human being that can do WHATEVER you want just don’t hurt yourself or kids,” another added.

“If she were to ‘dress down’ people would be like wow she let herself go. Always do you,” another user shared.
