‘I think it’s funny’: Woman’s mistake on wedding invitations
A TikTok said she was excited when she got back the sample invites for her big day before she realised the massive mistake.
A bride-to-be has left a huge glaring error on her wedding invitations, which she only realised when she received a sample back from the printers.
TikTok user @Squidward.Tentacles she was excited when she got back the sample invites for her big day before she realised the mistake.
“I’m going to share it with y’all so other brides don’t make this mistake as I’m sure it’s super common,” the American woman sarcastically shared.
“So this is the RSVP, super cute, but I forgot I put this website in as a placeholder.”
The woman zoomed in on the placeholder website, which turned out to be Pornhub, a video platform where pornographic content is shared.

The link was supposed to show a website where guests could register their attendance, make notes about dietary requirements and see the gift registry.
In addition, before picking a place where guests could stay before and after the ceremony, she included the Super 8 Motel in Arizona as another placeholder.
“If you’re a guest at our wedding, I promise I didn’t block rooms off at the Super 8 Motel, and if you’re my mum, I’m sorry, I will fix it,” she said.
“I think it’s funny, personally, but I don’t think anyone else will think it’s funny especially my family and Nate’s family,” she said.
In the comments section, she reassured people it was a sample and not something that had been sent out to guests.
“Don’t worry! I’m still dumb tho and will get people to proofread the real thing,” she said.
But, a subsequent video, showed the woman’s mother did have a sense of humour about the whole situation.
“I am cracking up. Did that say Pornhub,” the woman’s mother texted her.
The TikTok user thought it was funny that her mother texted her a hyperlink to the aforementioned website, adding her mum didn’t know what it was.
Other social media users got a good kick out of the situation.
“Something tells me this isn’t as common as you made it seem. Funny tho,” one user commented.
Another added: “Can you imagine the people making the invitations??”
A third said: “Maybe next time send it to like 5 people to proof read.”
However, several guests pointed out, despite the obvious errors, many of the words were misspelt anyway.
